ELIZABETH RILEY
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Prior to founding Ivy College Consulting in 2015, Elizabeth worked as an economic researcher at the Fundación Economía y Desarrollo, Inc., a top think tank in the DR. She published over 150 articles in the media and co-authored several books. She has also worked with business plan development and business valuations. She has a BA in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal, CA, an MA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and a degree from Barna Business School. Elizabeth lives in Santo Domingo with her husband, economist Andrés Dauhajre. Her daughters Andrea and Camila, and stepchildren Saralina and Miguel, have attended top boarding schools, colleges, and universities in the US. She is passionate about student mentoring and education, and believes that by inspiring students to excel and aim high, she can have a positive impact on their lives and society as a whole.
LESLIE DREW
CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Leslie graduated from Dartmouth College with Honors in English Literature. With a professional background in Marketing, Sales, and Journalism, she is adept at helping students to promote themselves to their best advantage in admissions essays. Since founding Ivy League Advantage in 2006, she has worked extensively with students applying to highly selective colleges and graduate schools, including all of the Ivy League, NESCAC Member Institutions and Harvard Graduate Programs. She has also worked with younger students and their families assisting with applications to Private Day and Boarding schools, including: Phillips Exeter Academy, Phillips Academy Andover, Deerfield Academy, and others. She co-founded Ivy College Consulting in 2015 and travels five – six times a year to the Dominican Republic and Florida to work one-on-one with students. Leslie lives near Boston, MA with her husband John Drew.
YASMIN CHALJUB
CONSULTANT
Yasmin is an economist and education advocate. She holds a BSc in Economics from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña, an MBA from University of Southern California, and a Master of Education in Guidance Counseling from Universidad de Turabo, Puerto Rico. Yasmin is currently based in Coral Springs, FL, and the Dominican Republic. She works with students, designs and reviews admissions and administration procedures for a prep school, manages a family business and is a Founding Member of the Science and Technology Foundation that sponsors the FIRST Lego League Competitions in the DR.
